I am struggling with my latest art project.  It's a self-portrait, but not just "look in the mirror and draw" but "illustrate what defines you" kind of thing.  It's hard.  I don't know what I'm doing with it, yet... and I think I'm supposed to be working on my final draft for tomorrow's critique... ick.  Oh well, so I'm off to a slow start. I am going home for Labor Day weekend and I have been tossing around the idea of bringing down my video game collection.  My manga collection would take up far too much room and is therefore, out of the question, but I have a shelf that neatly fits nearly all my video games and I might bring them all down.  It has happened many times in the past ( Read more... )

I would just like to state that I hate moving and I wish that I was friends with magical moving elves.  Still, excited to be in Moorhead and away from the scary mouse/rat/monstrous beast in the office.  

Phew, I'm finally done painting the window panels for the jail... I installed two this morning and only one pane doesn't fit.
