I hate daylight-savings time.

It is 5:30 and pitch-black out. Kill me now.

Yeah... One month til we're back in TBay where the sun sets at a decent hour.

Nice try, but it's black here at 6pm too.

aw. so much for .. er, what's the equivalent to nationalism for a city? is there a word for that? municipalism?
I could have sworn it stayed light longer up there. Maybe it was just that I got home earlier.

I think we're on the regular "non-saving" time now, so perhaps your hatred would be better directed at winter, or your current distance from the equator. You're in good company, though, wikipedia says Robertson Davies didn't like it either.

According to that map there's a random section of northern BC that apparently doesn't use daily savings time.

Saskatchewan also doesn't use daylight savings time.

Yeah, so I'd heard... They maintain it makes no real difference, and I'm inclined to agree... if any month needs later daylight, it's November not July.

It's Standard Time now. Daylight Saving ended a couple of weeks ago.
