Alone with John again
Beside the door of the bathroom stall
He kisses down my neck
‘Touch me, touch me.’
‘Tell me something sexy.’
And I respond with carbon dioxide and silence
An exasperated sigh of disappointment floats into my ear
“I’m limp again.”
My tongue denies me an apology
Humiliation
Shame
Shy representation
Has stolen my voice again
