OH MY GOD ALL OF THIS IS TRUE. I feel like it's so superior in so many respects but above all what I value most is the way, as you mentioned, people COMMUNICATE and respect each other enough to actually tell each other what's going on. SOA spoils me so much with this that I end up looking for it at the same level with my other shows and not finding it as often as I'd like (oddly enough, the show that comes closest imo is Vampire Diaries, haha! or Fringe).
But yeah....sometimes I don't know what to say, I have to just be like IT'S SO BRILLIANT, EVERY SECOND IS AMAZING, WHAT WAS MY TV LIFE BEFORE THIS SLDKGJSLDGK. etc. Best best best.

YES. I was just re-watching the "no truth, no pussy" scene where Tara demands total honesty from Jax -- I love how upfront they (both) are about what they need from each other. I can definitely see myself expecting more from other shows/ships now! It's funny how insanely excited I was in Season 3 of VM when Veronica finally admits that she has trust issues to Logan (no shit), but that was after they had SO MANY FIGHTS and breakups and whatever the fuck. Whereas Jax and Tara deal with shit pretty much as soon as it comes up. Maybe because they have already committed to each other, for life basically, and all that's left is figuring out the details. GOD DAMN, I could talk about them all day.
Haha you are making me want to watch Vampire Diaries now, omg.
Maybe because they have already committed to each other, for life basically UGH I LOVE THIS, like it's so true and I LOVE NOT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT AT LEAST THAT.
Honestly I think you'd love TVD, around 1.05 it figures itself out and then every episode after that is pure gold: truly clever and creative, the plots move and shit gets done, nearly every character is interesting/well developed, THE WOMEN ARE AWESOME, and like I'm not even kidding, people actually talk to each other about stuff! It's great.
i fucking love that you included kurt sutter as a reason to watch the show. he's my favorite showrunner.
today i was walking to the grocery store and i saw 4 or so dudes on bikes on a corner, wearing cuts (street knights mc, brooklyn) with a prospect with them and i almost died with glee, ngl.
I LOVE JAX/TARA OMG. thank you, kurt sutter, for being able to keep a pairing interesting without every week being all "they broke up! they're back on! he cheated! they worked it out! broken up again!" etc etc.
omg, do you follow Kurt on twitter?! I love him more with every tweet, haha.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how cool! I can imagine myself being very "what do I normally do with my hands?!" if I saw a Real Life club like that.
JAX/TARA ARE SO BRILL, I CAN BARELY EVEN TALK ABOUT THEM, LIKE WHERE DO I EVEN START?! And yes, what you said is my absolute favorite part about them -- they deal with their issues head on, by talking to each other and being honest about what they need/want, instead of the usual overly dramatic television bullshit. I love that you can tell from the start they are going to end up together (for life), it's just a matter of working out the details.
Aaah, this makes me so happy and it's all so true (JAX/TARAAA! ♥). I especially agree with you on number 5. I kink Kurt is the only show runner I have like NO beef with at all. He has just handled everything about his show perfectly and like you said, he's so gracious with the audience. This is so perfect; I wish it wasn't unlocked so I could link it to people, though ;)
