... i lied. this is important to me. it always has been. the thing is for me it's easier to keep my mouth shut and just know it's not important to anyone else (at least not anyone important to me). it would be worse to be talking about it and asking everyone else to be excited and be constantly be reminded that no one else cares

You always played it off as "your thing" that you didn't really want anyone involved with.
Which i should have picked up on, since thats how you portray most things you are involved with.

it's not just you. i got mad at you b/c you just happened to say the thing that pushed me over the edge.

but you are right it's "my thing". something that is integral to who i am. i never thought that had to be said. something that everyone of you has identified with who i am, even if it was just a joke about me kicking myself in the head.

so whatever the reason i stopped asking.
