ok i just stumbled across this and for some reason got excited about it. i'm mostly posting it for josh's sake so if you find this and he hasn't commented on it let him know about it.
Bekki, a recent pre-law grad, lives with Andrew, a student with a chemistry major in 1980s Mormon-run Pawtucket. Their lives are a complete cycle of drugs (though not so much for Andrew), sex, and punk rock. Kailyn, a social sidewinder-of-sorts, is the odd one out in the group, usually coming to Bekki or Andrew's rescue in risky situations. Candace, Bekki's girlfriend, takes common acid bought from Josh, the one person each person in the group would kill to fuck. One acid trip that Candace shares with Bekki, Bekki discovers that her life is one revolving cycle of nothing and that she needs to do something, fast. Later on, at a party, Andrew overdoses on drugs, perhaps the most unlikely thing for him to do, and Kailyn announces her leaving to go to a botanist college. Upon falling into a restless night, Bekki makes some rough choices and realizes she has to move on past the punk scene. In the morning, she finds Andrew has died of the pain-killer overdose from the night before. Minutes after leaving the
