Do the Glee writers even understand how a high school works? If the power goes out, they send the students home. I applaud them trying "stripped down" versions of the music, but the premise is a little far-fetched.
Okay, that was a bit of a generalization, sorry! The few times the power went out at my old high school we went home, but usually if it was for an extended amount of time. And usually weather related. Not all high schools are the same. But still I would think if the power was out for a week (or at least a few days in a row) then maybe send the kids home?
We used to go without water all the time. They'd cover up the water fountains and sinks with plastic and just bring in some tanks to flush the toilets and cook our food. The longest we ever went without power was two days. Maybe we're just ghetto here in Kentucky LOL
