I just dropped my laptop, and I ended up breaking the frame around it, the open/close sliding button, cracked the corner of the top surface, and the bottom part. I guess that's what I get when attempting to answer the phone, hang up my cell phone, and pick up my laptop at the same time. Ummm what brand is your laptop, and how long have you had it? Most times there are places that can really work some magic with it. And if all else fails, I'm assuming that your hard drive still works because you just posted this entry?

My laptop is a Toshiba, and I had it for almost exactly a year I think. Everything works just fine still and it looks like mostly cosmetic damage. Hopefully my dad still has paperwork for it, since he's really good about keeping this kind of thing. It was my graduation present.

I used to have a toshiba laptop, and one day my keys started randomly falling off my keyboard. None of it was covered by the warranty, thanks to small print/ridiculous loophole. Hopefully your case will be better than mine. And if you have to get a new one, at least you will be able to back your information up!

Once you go Mac, you never go back! lol

Oh man, I hope mine can get fixed! Do you know if I'll be able to back up any of my iTunes? I think I'll be even more devistated if I lose all of my music from my iPod!

Oh, tell me about it! I had a feeling it was going to eventually happen! Mine is so heavy, so that's why the fall was pretty bad. I'm thinking about getting an iMac though once I get a job.
