I am back in Italy. I am once again unemployed. The Vescovino is closing, and I am therefore out on my bum. We're hopin' that something will magically appear as it has done in the past. We'll see. I might (maybe, probably) be in Chicago in the fall, too. All by my lonesome, since Drew will be in Atlanta. You can come visit me, too!

Congratulations! An ex-wife, a late ex-father-in-law, and a neice (the one who does Broadway) of mine went to IU. Not a bad place in Bloomingfool. When you get a chance, go visit my PhD alma mater, Purdue, and surrounding area. Also, check out an old friend of mine named Carrie Newcomer. She is a singer-songwriter (sang at my ill-fated wedding up in Battleground ... you'll learn all these Indiana place names if you don't already know them). If you ever get a chance, remember me to her. I know that's a long way off, but I'm just planting a seed.
