But onto the actual subject I wanted to speak to you about.

I own a flat in London, which I've never used, nor needed, as for the most part I am not fond of that city. But... for your purposes, it would probably suit very well. Of course, you'll still have to pay for floo and the like, but... if you'd like it, it's yours. As you'd just be starting out work and such, you'd be better with that than wasting lots of time haggling with strangers for rental fees and dealing with dodgy heating charms and the like.
