Blogs are like talking to someone with his back to you, he doesn't have to respond or even listen. I think this is a funny comment because it is so true!...anyway, just thought that I would share that thought.

Yeah... but sometimes people surprise you with their attentiveness... how much they hear when it doesn't seem like they're listening. :-)

Yep. I find that the most frustrating part of blogging. You spend your time posting your thoughts on some deep subject, and it seems no one's paying attention, but the minute you post a bit of trite trivia, and it seems everyone and their grandmother wants to respond to your post.

Sigh. It's a hard knock life/ It's a hard knock life for us [attention-seeking English majors]...
