RP - Blaise & Harry - Sunday evening

Jul 26, 2004 17:39

After having his fill of food in the Great Hall, Blaise made his way through the castle, making his way towards the courtyard. Stepping outside he was engulfed in darkness quickly, he just stood there alone, the breeze pleasantly running over his skin. The sky clear. Nothing around, the occasional hoot from a owl, but nothing more ( Read more... )

Harry looked up from his seat in the courtyard as Blaise approached. He had wanted solitude in the courtyard... He felt as though he needed the cool peace of the night to think things over, but he found, as Blaise entered, that he didn't mind his presence so much.

He watched him for a moment, but decided not to bother him.. He seemed just as pensive as Harry felt. With a sigh, Harry leaned back against the stone wall behind him and looked up at the stars as well.

About 5 minutes later, Blaise snapped out of his trance, and a made a move to sit down. It was then that he noticed someone move not far away. He hadn't been alone at all.

Walking towards the figure seated on one of the benches not too far away, Blaise realised as he got closer that it was in fact Harry. A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth at the realisation that it was Potter.

"JH, trying to hide from your rabid fans are you?" Blaise smirked.

Blaise's movement drew Harry's attention away from the skies, but it took him speaking to break through Harry's thoughts.

He glanced up at Blaise as he spoke, smiling half-heartedly back at his smirk.

He sighed, bringing a hand up to rub his neck.

"It's not as if there's a crowd waiting just inside the Entrance Hall."

He frowned, flushing and regretting immediately the edge to his tone of voice... But Blaise's comment had prickled him slightly. He had endured so much because of his.. fame...and had just gone through a year of being the poster child for insanity... Now he was hardly discussed. And what bothered him even more was the fact that this bothered him.

Not that he should be talked about, his conscience reminded him, not when all of those closest to him ended up...Well...

He looked back up at Blaise, but found that he didn't want to apologize.

At the edgy sound of Harry's voice, Blaise felt his back prickle. It wasn't the breeze, even though slightly cold, it was the way that Harry had spoken - the tone. There was something bothering Potter, something disturbing him - and it wasn't the precense of Blaise. As Harry spoke Blaise studied him, his smooth pale skin; flushed cheeks, red dry lips, green eyes behind his well-known round frames. There was something missing, something that Blaise couldn't figure out. A spark perhaps.

Harry looked back up toawrds him. Silent. Real. Open.
Usually Blaise wouldn't go over and sit beside a Gryffindor, the well known rivalry between the Houses living up to it's tradition. Of coarse that didn't mean he wouldn't fuck one!
Taking a place beside Harry, he leaned forward, resting on his elbows. Taking a deep breath he turned his head to the right, to look once again at the Gryffindor.

"So JH? ... why out here alone then?" Blaise questioned.
