So I went to CVS this afternoon because I was out of pseudo-ephedrine. Pulled the card off the shelf for a 20-count 12-hour store brand. Noted that the shelf tag announced a buy 2, get 1 free sale. Wondered about that, because I thought that three 20-counts would be more than could be purchased at a time. Got to the front of the pharmacy line,

Pseudo-ephedrine should go back on the shelf where it belongs so we can stop treating allergy sufferers like criminals. In Maryland you have to go to the pharmacy counter, show your ID, get checked against the "list" and basically prove you are NOT a meth-maker before being allowed to purchase it. In the meantime the real meth-makers are buying in bulk from Mexico via the Internet.
