I just updated the Pidgin instant messaging client from 2.1.0 to 2.1.1 and the developers decided "Hey, tabs are so fucking great, why would anyone ever want to disable them?" So now the "Show IMs and chats in tabbed windows" checkbox is just for show. If I open a chat window with myself, it now says "blake8086" in no less than three places just
