I know what you mean. The ellipticals scared me so bad I refused to try them till I knew nobody was around. I had this image of missing a step and flying off backwards into the weight machines behind me.

I picked a dentist the same way when we moved here. When I went in December, they had a TV mounted on the wall in front of me and handed me the remote. My friend said they gave her headphones.

The spa treatment might win out over mine, though, but Mobile would be a long way to drive to the dentist.

Yay for full service tooth cleaning! I'm glad to hear you're doing so well.
