Travel Travails: SFO-ORD-SPI
I drove to the long-term parking lot but it was full. They gave me a voucher for the domestic hourly lot, but that's even more to drive. I got to Terminal 3, but Continental is in Terminal 1. Hurling Our Bodies Out Into the Void
I've never liked flying. My first flying experience resulted in rather severe jet lag, both going to and coming back from the trip. It really never fails. I talk to someone about Los Angeles and say that I've never been there. The reaction is always one of disbelief. Followed by the imperative, "You must go! It's really great!" And just as quickly followed by a list of reasons why they hate L.A ( Read more... ) -

I'm at Ritual Coffeehouse. There is this couple, cute guy and cute girl. She's visiting from Switzerland or something. It doesn't seem exactly like a date? They're talking. She's taking notes. They might be discussing business.
Notable as one of the few times a cute guy has been observed at Ritual!

LLVM Developers Conference
Today (well, Thursday) was the LLVM Developers Conference. It was packed with nerds - 200 who pre-registered and a few who seemed to wander in. One of the most successful LLVM conferences yet.
