Been a while

Hey all.

Just thought I would update this.. been a while since I did an entry.

A lot has been happening lately, and it has just been busy as anything.

On Tuesday 8-8-06, I was rear-ended coming home. I'm ok, the car just needs a new bumper. Here are a few fuzzy pix of the car.

Glad to hear it's that minor. Me, I dunno. My friend Elaine the cat-lady was going to take three of us up to Dragon*Con, but her van seems to have collapsed into a heap of parts (right after being "fixed" by some mechanic).

And now, my car seems to be boiling over for an unexplained reason. And my regular, good, trustworthy, although right-wing, mechanic has taken the entire month off to go to the Gulf with his wife in his cabin cruiser. And I haven't yet been able to contact the secondary mechanic he recommends when he's out of town.

Having been in TWO cars that ended up dead on the Atlanta trip, I have to make sure my car is up for the trip...or if not, whether I can find a van to rent that will get me and the other two (three?) people up to Atlanta and back.

Sure sucks having to be the only adult around, sometimes.

Oh boy, that really sucks!

I hope that you can get your car checked up and repaired in time for Dragon*Con. I can say that I actually have a very good trusting vehicle. just a little maintenance here and there. I do need new brakes though.

No, I didn't cause the accident. I was stopped at a red light and the person 2 vehicles behind me didn't. the guy (and a little kid) in the middle vehicle got the worst of it. Everyone is going to be ok.

I guess I should have put more info on the original post but /shrug/ oh well lol.
