I guess I have to make this post. I don't want to because I know you are all pretty cool and respectful, but I hear through the grapevine that the twitter/facebook thing effects even people who wish to keep 95% of their LJ private, such as myself. My posts are locked down.

I think, from what I gather, people can repost your posts onto twitter or FB. Honestly though, I thought that it was just that you can repost your responses onto those social networking sites. I am not as worried about the comments-thought it is annoying and I would just prefer to keep all this shit separated until I am the one who decides to intermesh them(or cut and paste an entry into notepad, etc.)

There are new options in the reply areas on LJ. I just try to do things as usual around here. LJ was fine when it began, and really didn't have any need to change all too much.

Haha, no facebook for me, but that's horrible that people would possibly do that. I'm not terribly active in my own journal, but I still keep up with friends.

I am flabbergasted that so many people have to actually state this in their journals. It hadn't even crossed my mind to crosspost something, and even if I wanted to, i'd always check first. But usually it's stuff like shared links, etc. not personal journal stuff.

oh, and i want to stay!
