Instantly the boy's body stiffened, completely taken over with an intake of fear. So he really was here. It was stupid to doubt the thought; why wouldn't he be here? Even in a certain moment of reprise, it always seems to fall away as quickly as it came.

He had to keep up this act as long as he was here, but that didn't stop him from almost dropping the device with a shaky hand. Instead Kohaku clenched it; expression shoving to become emotionless.
