I know it seems I've fallen off the edge of the Earth, but hello, it's me! I'm still here, on solid ground, just really busy (and frequently tired). I recently gave in to the allure of a steady paycheck and have gone from freelancing to a contract position, where I'm doing much of the same thing, just in an office rather than from home. Hi you! It's so nice to be remembered!

In answer to your question, it's more fun because I kind of missed having water cooler chats and people to go to lunch with, you know? Working from home can get kind of lonely. You get to the point where you're just waiting for the FedEx guy to show up so you can ask him if he saw Lost last night. Plus, I like my co-workers here, so that's always nice. And I get to keep toys on my desk. :-)

In case you're wondering, I've been working a lot, too, and on top of that, other real-life issues issues have been keeping me from actively participating in fannish discussions.

Press tour started last week, but the networks have their presentations this week. I didn't get to go this year, though. They've got dedicated TV editors here, and they're the ones who cover it. I'm getting full reports, though.
