For every message posted, I will donate 1 penny. Keep in mind that the more you post the more I'll donate. However since I am working on an artistic project, Spam will not be allowed. Reflecting back on Christmas, I realized I have more than I asked for. In return, I thought it would be nice to give something back to the community while others have random chats and have fun. I believe January is Cancer Awareness month and I had a relative die from cancer so I thought it would be nice to donate in memory of her.

It is. Totally and utterly admirable. And unselfish. I think someone's got a little Hufflepuff in 'em. *g*

I recommend the American Cancer Society. This is a charity that is important to me, and since you mentioned cancer, I think it might be important for you as well. I've done Relay for Life for two years now, and I think that ACS is really great.

I've thought about American Cancer Society. However after taking a deeper look at its organization, i found several things I did not like about it.

I've also thought about March of Dimes and National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.

May I ask what it is you do not like about it? (I'm not going to argue with you, I'd just like to know your thoughts.)

Only 70% of your contributions go toward the cause itself. I'm just looking for a higher number where each dollar goes further.
