I'll never forget something a priest said to me one time. I mean, I've heard it a hundred thousand times, but...I still think it's profound:D
"Remember that God loves you; that's the bottom line."

I don't know, there are so many things, one of my favorites though is "Always remember to forget the troubles that come your way, but never forget to remember the blessings that come each day!" And one of the most profound things I have seen is the way my grandparents care for their parents and take care of them with such love. Especially my grandpa, he took care of his step mother for a long time and she was very cantankerous, but he loved and respected her and was very faithful about visiting her everyday. That was a very powerful example of respect and selfless love.
