Catching up...
Where to begin? I waited patiently for it to arrive, and when ample time had passed and it still hadn't showed up, we emailed the seller to find out why. Turns out they hadn't shipped it yet. They apologized and said they shipped it that day. A few days later I got a notice in the mail box saying that I had a package at the post office to pick up. Why? They've never had trouble delivering packages to me before. Then I looked closer at the notice, and found the reason: it had almost $15 of postage due! This after having paid about $25 shipping when I bought the item. The seller was duly contacted, and placed blame at the feet of PayPal, because he used the shipping service that they provide, and they screwed up. While possible, I find it unlikely. So, I refused the package, demanded a refund, and it's in the process of clearing now according to an email we got from Pay Pal yesterday.
Next update, the new kittens. They are thriving, and *slowly* getting used to us and letting us pet them sometimes. They are growing like crazy, of course, and more pictures need to be acquired and posted soon. Also, another of our outdoor, part-time cats, Shadow, has had a couple of kittens at least, and she is raising them under the shed in our back yard. I may try to get some pics of them, but they are *very* skittish, so it might prove to be impossible to get any pics of them.
Then, there's our weekend at the Glasgow Highland Games, which I'm going to do as a separate post with quite a bit of linky goodness.
Lots of things to do, and not much time to do it in. More to come later.
