Don't get in TOO big of a hurry to get those 40 hours a week. Yeah, the pay is nice, but I sure miss having the option of staying in bed if I felt like I could skip class; you can't "skip" work that way. :-) And there are way fewer vacation days at a job than there are while you're in school.
However, I already work 30-32 hours a week. I just feel like it's time to be full-time and earn the sick days and vacation pay that go along with it. As it is, I only have one day a week off of both school and work. (It used to be none.) I kinda feel like I'm putting in the work but not getting the extra benefits that should come along with it. :\
See, that's a different scenario altogether from the one I was picturing. I can absolutely see why you'd want to be doing just one, instead of both. I hope it gets here quickly for you. :-)
I love babysitting time. ^_^ And, sadly, there is so few of it during the school year. I should have Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays off after December 5th (barring any shift trades) if you find the need for a professional Hannah-entertainer.
Hehe Missy .... so know where you're at at the no-money thing. And wow ... if you work 30 hours a week already then no wonder you're bored of school! I work ten hours a week during term, 30 odd hours when on 'holiday' with essays to write as well ... EEK. Your situation scares me. And do you have people at your school who just bum all their money off their parents and spend it on alcohol ... oh plus their parents pay for everything including RENT. Bear in mind over here you can get a student loan to cover your tuition fees and rent ... that's what most of my loan goes on hehe.
I absolutely loathe the people who live completely off mummy and daddy and still think life is tough somehow. We have school loans here too but I only get enough to cover my tuition. I have to handle rent, utilities, and food myself. Hopefully next year I'll get more though since my parent's income will no longer count toward what I'm awarded for school.
$13 for a weeks groceries. Been there, done that, Thankyou very much! 40 hour week = gooood, no complaints. Even better than that rubbish sleeping in thing mentioned above (hey, theres still weekends).
How would you feel about me ordering you a 40gallon drum full of rice? With a bottle of ketchup that should halve your grocery bill giving you and Zach the ability to go to the movies or something.
As for your soul.... im intrigued. What kind of condition is it in? and decomposition? How many miles does it have?
....id love to see you walk into an automated door (simsons refrence)

And Spike says... hands off the hair.
(Heh!)
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I think you're right about college teaching people how to take tests. That's a good skill to know. ♥
