So, yesterday during my 10 minute break at job #2, my mom called. Normally, this is a somewhat cheery occurence, but last night she called to tell me that my dad's surgery that day had gone fine. I am very glad to hear that your father got through the surgery just fine, but I'm with you, when something like this happens to someone in my family, I want to know about it!

Wow. And I thought I had a family that never told anyone what was going on, but that really takes the cake. I'm glad your dad's okay -- more or less -- and that you finally did find out. You deserve better.

Normally in situations like this I'd shout "SUE THE PUNKS!" but...since they are your family they are not punks and I guess you can't really sue them:(

I am glad your Dad's okay, though! And hope that your fambly calls next time something's up.
