So I got a job offer from a friend and most likely I'm going to get hired. I just finished my resume and sent it to him. Problem though is my cars is literally falling apart on me. Just the other day I went to take off the Emergency brake and it ripped right out of the car. Also my car is leaking massive amounts of powersteering fluid, so now ever ( Read more... )

OMG!! That is horrible about your car. But the image of you pulling the Emergency Brake out did have me laughing. I hope everything goes to plan or exceeds your expectations!!!!

I didn't know how your job searching and what not was going, but there's a pretty easy, laid-back job here that if you needed help in the meantime, a day shift and not Quick Check or by the hour. It's at 5 Spring St. - Murray Hill ... you'd set up conference rooms with LCD projectors or conf. call phones, tell catering and janitors where to go, stock room (paper, toner, etc.), and tell people where to go during fire drills. it pays between $31K-34K, could maybe get you $35-36K because of the degree.
