Literally! The last few days here, we've been deluged by a huge system. Some places got a month's worth of rain in less than a day! Makes for some interesting drives around town. Grandpa passed away earlier today at the age of 85 due to leukemia. It's weird, the flood of emotions that haunt me right now. I liken it to the New Orleans disaster in that there was a huge buildup, the immediate impact was not too severe, and then the overflow of negativity that followed many hours afterwards sticking around like some virus

So today was the beginning of the PNE, a la traffic bitchrape on 2900 E.Pender. I got an early start to the day (ok 10am is early for me alright?!) and hobbled out to the scene. Something about yesterday's incident with Crystal set off a chain of events that I recognized right away, but could not quite pinpoint why it was happening. Right after I found out about her suspicions of me, I felt betrayed as a friend. To put trust and time into someone and being returned with a figurative slap in the face has never set well

So it seems I keep being dealt curve balls with the whole Crystal/Christie situation. I talked to Christie a few days ago about what's going on. Apparently she says that Crystal is a pathological liar (which I tend to believe), cons people out of money, and is overly dominant and negative around the house. Far be it for me to change my opinions
