Who made the standards of todays basic song structures? why do their spans of time only go from say one minute to maybe 15-20 minutes? why are we the only species that can make music? honestly, if we had fish that invented instruments, who knows what the hell music could sound like today

ive been doing that since i was 4 or so; id do it every night before i go to bed...id see yellow/greeen circles and black/purple batlike checkerboard shapes...im pretty sure i hadnt done anything fucked up at that age, either. theres more to this machine than what we can see.
