"I'll believe it when I see it." Oops I did it again.

Look at page #111 of the March edition of Beckett baseball and you will see a familiar name. That's right Jason Blasco did it again once again proving that the "I'll believe it when I see it," person is full of shit.

Well, now, JP, I just can't take credit for that one. I do know who that person is -- it is a male and HE does work at the Journal Star -- but it isn't Katie Gaston. I'm not that sad or vindictive that I have to make posts poking fun of others' successes on an online journal. Honestly, I have better things to do with my time.

Jason, I am happy for you and hope that you continue to get published. And I mean that.

Katie

Hello, I am this evil, mean-spirited, nothing-better-to-do anonyous user that apparently is the bane of Jason Blasco's existence. Why? If I am, indeed, such an idiot, why do you continue to worry about what I think? Mainly, I am just poking fun at someone who feels the need to post bombastic entries about himself when something goes his way -- and then act as if he's going to slit his wrists when something goes wrong. Get some perspective. I am, deep down, happy for you Jason, it's just that you need to realize a bit of humble behavior is OK now and again. A blog is supposed to be entertaining, not just you reciting songs and poems ( ... )

It’s ashamed you can’t behave in a professional manner. It is obvious that you haven’t completely grown up because you as you put it are “just poking fun at someone who feels the need to post bombastic entries about himself when something goes his way.”
A true professional doesn’t have time to bother with Live Journals. A true professional wouldn’t have the time of day to devote to rookies like myself especially on live journals. And I find it interesting that you try to use “your keep on keeping” on speech as way to retract previous statements. Thanks, but I don’t buy it, the only reason you are “retracting” previous statements is because your identity was possibly going to be exposed. That not only makes you unprofessional, it also makes you a coward.

Sorry you feel that way. I really am. And frankly, I don't care if my identity is exposed. What did I do that really was that out of line other than poke some fun? Jeez, get melodramatic much? I didn't commit a capital crime, I was just having fun.

My name is Wes. I work at the Journal Star. My e-mail is whuett@pjstar.com

By the way, you assume that I am a true professional. In my work, I am, on the Internet, where I am just me, not an employee, I am my usual, sarcastic, jaded self.

Let's keep in touch.

Wes

Me again, adding that every "anonymous" entry is not necessarily from me. That is why it is anonymous.
