Any of my friends who are thinking of going to see Death at a Funeral in theaters on April 16th, please do me a favor and DON'T.
It's an unnecessary remake of a UK movie that came out in 2007. If you insist on going to see the remake, at least watch the original first. It's hilarious, but also your classic British humor, so it might not be ( Read more... )

I saw that it was a remake of a movie made a few years ago and I thought that was stupid and a bit rude to do that. The original one is probably so much better anyways. I might have to add tha to our netflix line.

There's literally no reason it should be remade. If anything, it should be re-released with a better promotional campaign or something. It's a RECENT movie, less than three years old, already in ENGLISH... there's seriously no reason what-so-ever that I can think of for them doing a remake.

Exactly, when I saw a promo for it the title sounded familiar, I think it was promoted in the states or it might've just been something I had heard. But to do a remake of a three year old movie is really lame.

Because they're assholes. I hate being from the US sometimes, lol. So many people here that make us all look bad, urgh.
