Also - about the no resources thing if you do decide to go with him to the backwater small town - you can rejoice in the age of the interwebs! In all honesty, I buy most of my supplies online, because there's really only one craptastic fabric store in my immediate area. Add in small noisy children with an attention span of about 5 minutes before embarrassing meltdowns (or a tour of every disgusting public restroom in existance), and I actually spend about 99% of my time at home/in my studio when I'm not out carting the kids to their schools and activities. If you're buying online and selling online it might not be bad at all. Fewer distractions = huge business productivity. They even have online grocery delivery! ;)
No matter what you choose, at least it's only temporary. And you know that when you come out on the other end, things are going to be better! :)
Why would you have to move too? Would you not get to keep the house? I would def not move from the cities so much of your career depends on it. It will be hard to be away from each other but like you said your relationship is strong and you will make it through anything. Plus you can find people to take road trips with you to bring you there or greyhounds. It will all work out it always does, stay strong <3
Because he's my husband. It'd be different if we were just dating, but we're married.
Yes we're keeping the house.
It sounds like we're about 80% me staying here, 20% me going with him. And with him going, it sounds like he might be able to come up every other weekend (he's going to be going to school with a friend of his whose wife will also be staying behind, but only for the 1st year.
Sorry, of course yes I know he's your husband. I should of clarified more I meant if you stayed why would you have to move to? But you answered that with the second question. Is he planning on starting like this fall or like next year fall? It sounds like you are formulating a plan <3 You guys are tough, you got this.
