So I don’t know what else to say to that last part. Clearly Rob had no intention of solving the situation in any way but the way HE was comfortable with, my complete surrender. Perhaps Rob isn’t use to having ppl disagree with him. Perhaps his fame is tainting him into thinking ppl should treat him special or something. Well tough Rob. I don’

As someone who definitely goes way out of my way to avoid confrontation, I think putting him on ignore was the right thing to do, if that was the only way to stop the argument. It would also be in your best interest to NOT respond to the comment he left here. If you're like me (and I know I am) you'd sooner delete it than respond to it. That's just going to keep the argument going eternally.
If you want to hear my other opinions, they can be discussed in private. (I have other things I really need to discuss as well, as soon as possible.)

Uh... WHAT?!?!? Have you gone mad, sir? This is NOT the Bill Putt I've known for nearly five years!!!
I have tried to bring up numerous disagreements with you, and in response you have tried to create other arguments out of the thin air. Because of that, I do not believe that you would ever listen to a "reasonable intelligent response citing specific examples.". Unless "listening" involves shouting down your opponent, arguing, and dismissing the other party's issue with you as "unimportant".

Host your own.
You've done both.
Theoretically having hosted, you should know the difficulties in running a convention and you wouldn't try to impose your opinions on other hosts.
Even if you do insist on pressing the points of your opinions, you shouldn't take it personally when someone disagrees, no matter what the reason.
I could have made the exact same statement about you six years ago, and it would be just as true today.
Good luck with your next event, "Con-vince," where the entire event is spent trying to tell everyone you are right and they are wrong.
Love,
Amanda
