I sold twenty-seven air conditioners and thirteen fans today. The air conditioner in my new car doesn't work, and the car traps heat like a greenhouse, so that was fun.

I suggest we all hold a moment of silence for Bjorn. Think of how many times he successfully got us across the pass, how he survived an Ellensburg winter without complain, the only time he ever broke down was when I let him overheat, he survived three years with me. Even now he still runs perfectly.

We're going to look at cars today.

I have to get a new car. The frame of the car was actually damaged, which would cost thousands to fix and the car would never be very safe. I really got attached to that car though, and having to give it up is like seeing your cat get run over. It sucks. I really loved that car ( Read more... )

Oh my Lord, what a day. I got into an accident during my lunch break. I was going across a bridge that spans I-5 near where I work. The lady in front of me stopped suddenly, so I slammed on my brakes and stopped in time, but the guy behind me wasn't paying attention and hit me hard enough that I was pushed forward into the car in front of me. I have three days off. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. It's nice, but it isn't like I'm dreading going back to work, or like I needed a break or anything. I was at the Pro-Checkout today, which is where all of the contractors and people with big lumber purchases go. It was mind-numbingly boring.
