Holy poop! Quite an exciting itinerary you got there...my summer is mostly just work, weddings, and scifi cons :) Congradulations on your success that's already known, and good luck on your success to be!

Well, I've never actually been to a scifi con, most of my summer will be spent doing work of a different sort, and... Oh! I think that this is the first summer, actually, that I do not have a wedding to addend in quite some time! (I think that about 6 or 7 of my friends got hitched in Summer '05. No polygamy there; I just didn't know all of the spouses-to-be.) Hmm. Perhaps I've past the age where one feels old because all one's friends are wedding. I haven't gotten to the point where I feel old because all my friends are popping out offspring. (C'mon, Friends! What's the big hold-up?)

Thanks for your well-wishes. If I know what's good for me, I'll find a way to hide my Livejournal and Facebook passwords from myself until this paper is done...

Well, I spoke too soon. Just last Thursday I was invited to a wedding. It's not this summer... It's this Saturday! I'm glad. :c)

And a daytrip to the beach is just a bus ride across town. :c) It's not an impressive beach, but it is not far away.
