Icon Tutorial #1: Coloring
Made in PS 7. No Selective Coloring. Should be translatable for PSP users.
1. Okay. So let's start with your base. I chose this one of the lovely Emma Watson.
2. Duplicate your base, drag it to the dop and set it to overlay 65% and flatten image.
3. Now you got a new base, make a new layer and fill it with #040731(dark blue) and set it to exclusion 100%
4. New fill layer fill it with #898687 (dark grey) and set it to opacity 50% fill 45%
5. New fill layer fill it with a light pink #f5c7d4 set it to color burn 100%
6. New fill layer (last one i promise) fill it with #85dfe4 and set this layer to color burn 100%
7. Duplicate your base, drag it to the top and set it to soft light 35%
8. Paste this mask

discordandnight) and set it to screen 100%

Add any text or brush or whatever is in your mind to finish your icon.
As you may see this tutorial works great with light pictures, and you can play with the opacities if the result is not good.
I have two other tutorials coming ,this tutorial was made a long time ago, when i was only a beginner so hopefully this will help those people that are beginning or only for fun.
