If only I were in Boston, because I actually do want to go to something like that, and not only have I not heard about anything similar in Atlanta, I can't imagine anyone around here even allowing me to drag them.
Since it was pointed out to me that my apology is feminist appeared to be superficial and insincere, I wanted to apologise to you directly. Although it's true that I'm ignorant of many things (although, thankfully, less than I was this morning), I'm not insincere. I was going to PM you, but I think your PM's are disabled. Proper social intercourse evades me in optimal circumstances (and the internet isn't a great medium for that). My apology was entirely sincere; I wouldn't have made it if it wasn't.
So again, I apologise for both the ignorant comment in the community and for coming across as insincere.
ETA: I came to you directly instead of continuing the dialogue in feminist because I thought it'd gone far enough off topic.
p.s. I identify with Meg Murray, too. I adore her. I was devastated when Ms L'Engale died before we could find out what happened to Charles Wallace.
