Is it so hard to fix stray HTML code in your post?

X-Philes:  do you remember how much crap you'd get if you posted your fic on the newsgroup using "smart quotes"?  Do you remember the threat of being lynched when posting  story with poor grammar and spelling?

Internet fandoms suck now.  There's no self-policing anymore and far too much nicey

I also remember revolt over line breaks and paragraph formatting, LOL. Ah, the good ol' days. It's true, if you ever posted crap to Usenet, you'd be flamed like crazy.

Now these young fanfic writers can't even be bothered with spell check.
