when i do feel the urge to give poetry a shot, i can never spend a long time on one piece. I must get it done quickly before i lose whatever emotion caused to me begin in the first place. (by quickly i mean within a month, max) when i wait and work on it, it's meaning changes and then it never becomes finished because it's purpose only continues to change.
plus, i'm more of a story writer if anything
In poetry, I don't trust my audience (who ever that is, i haven't figured it out yet) to interpret it as i want, and that just causes severe lack in the intensity of the writing.
but bravo. i hope you keep posting more stuff you have written.
