I was emailed the link to this today and I don't know about y'all but the whole thing scares the crap outa me! What's next? I'm wondering if anyone who ever wrote/read/drawn fiction(or fanfiction even) that someone else deemed "obscene" is going to be treated like a criminal

I'm sure it will never stand up in court. It's just more waste of the tax payers money instead of going after the true criminals.

You're probably right but hearing shit like this just weirds me out. Can you imagine what this guy's first thoughts must have been when they pressed charges?

I wouldn't be paranoid, and as you know, I am sure, Manga has long been a source of annoyance to many American conservatives. What this case will do, is cost the taxpayers money. And it doesn't matter which way the court goes, Manga will still be bought and sold. And instead of cracking down on comics, they should be spending all the time, energy and money in going after actual magazines with real children.
