I don't think "effort" will cut it here.

Sure, if you have that sort of attitude about it, but with enough effort, anything's possible.

It doesn't matter how far we have to go, he'll get there. It's just a matter of time and hard work.

But if he is too slow to learn, then he'll be useless!

Awah~ is your pokemon ok? [Though that little training video was pretty cute] I'm sure if he keeps at it he pull off that move!

Of course he will.

[ He stomps his foot and stands dramatically! The Torchic attempts to copy him, but it's hard to be dramatic when you have tiny feet and no arms. ]

There's nothing that can hold him back!

Mm! Training every day and having a trainer who's good at teaching moves will surely make him powerful.

I wish I could do the same thing with my pokemon... [She hasn't really done any training, let alone that much battling seeing as she just lets her traveling buddies do all the work.]

[And here comes a Sisuca wandering into the inn. Remember her, Adell? She certainly recognizes him and walks over to him, humming.]

You already made it to Violet City! You're so fast. You'll catch up to Mama in no time. ♥

Ah! Is this the sort of thing people are doing to train their Pokémon?!

[Tomo looks over to her Wooper]

We have to start now!

[She looks back to the screen]

Consider yourself CHALLENGED!

...Uh...

I think you might want to acclimate yourself to this place before challenging random people. Do you even know what you're challenging me to?

Re: [Video] wildcatidiot August 15 2011, 01:14:19 UTC
Ha! I can do it without acclimatising myself! Now we find out who is the best at training Pokémon! Wooper, do some push ups!

[The Wooper looks perplexed for a moment, and then flops its belly onto the ground, and attempts to lift itself up, which is difficult with no arms]
