[Sitting in an alleyway with his mask in his hand, Yuri begins to look at various functions and features on the Dreamberry he found in his pocket moments ago. This was obviously not Sternbild and he had to figure out what was going on and why he was no longer in his chamber dungeon... He also needed to find a change of clothes because nobody could ( Read more... )

[Now... that's a voice he hasn't heard in a while. Thankfully though, since every time he does, he pays out of his pockets for it. That aside, this time the voice of one Yuri Petrov isn't followed by the smack of a gavel against wood, and so he can breath a little easier.

That isn't to say that he's breathing easy, though. Confronting the man off duty would surely be strange as well, but it's his duty to at least say something. He'd like to think the man would do the same for him, in any case.]

Umm. Judge... Petrov? [There's a bit of uneasy laughter, followed by a slightly hesitant:] Welcome to Somarium, sir...

No, no! I didn't say that, I just need to find a way to keep doing it is all. [A sheepish, yet slightly nervous chuckle at the "public property" comment.] At least there won't be any cameras, or people telling me to not do anything during commercials.

[A few words too many there, but that's just like him to not know when to keep his mouth shut.

But his voice does take on that same nervous undertone.]

... Courthouse? [Said like he... already knows the answer he'll receive.]

[Yuri has no desire to comment on Kotetsu's mention of Hero TV. He's quite thankful there is no such thing in his new home.]

I have no intention to sit around and drink tea all day, Mr. Kaburagi. [Although the idea does sound quite nice...] If I can make myself available to the citizens of Somarium as I did to those in Sternbild, then I am going to do so. I worked hard to become a civil servant.

[He smiles to himself]

After all, justice needs to be served here, too.

[He twitches a little, and even if it can't be seen, the slight stutter makes it into his voice.]

I see... [A very quiet sigh.] Good luck with that then, sir.

[He almost says something on how they'll more than likely see each other a lot more often then, but bites his tongue, since he doesn't want to jinx it.]

But let me at least show you where the courthouse is. [It's the least he can do, since he unfortunately knows the way quite well.]

[It has become quite obvious that, no matter what he says or does, Yuri is not going to rid himself of the Wild Tiger. Not here, not in Sternbild, nowhere. So, against his better judgment, he decides to agree to let the man show him around the city. However, there is no way that Yuri is going to let Kaburagi see him as he is now.]

At least give me enough time to purchase a change of clothes and look presentable.

[No one can rid themselves of Wild Tiger, not even those determined to.]

Ah. Sure, I can wait. [Kind of.] I'll come meet you when you're ready.

[He takes a minute to look around and find the nearest noticeable landmark.]

I'm near a fountain in what I believe to be a shopping district in Somni. I'll be waiting for you in two hours.

Understood. [He sounds just a bit more enthusiastic than he should.] I'll be there.

[Without another word, Yuri ends the call, almost horrified at the thought of meeting Kaburagi outside of the courtroom.]
