Looking back, I've been a busy little bee here lately!
Bizarre, frustrating, and annoying “games” played against me by strange Nobles who don't even know me - 1 (At least. Who can tell?)
Nobles nearly getting themselves punched by myself and/or others - 2

Which means we can't do our usual looting and plundering. Which means that unfortunately, for the moment, anyway, I'm not actually a looter, smuggler OR pirate. Officially at least.
Thank the gods there's rum, at least!

On the other hand, I am also fond of Letters of Marque for freebooters and privateers who have the interests of the Crown at Heart but want to go about shooting things.

Divine, glorious, and near-holy as Letters of Marque are, I doubt we'll be seeing them. Much as we like Amber, the interests of the current Crown haven't exactly been in our own best interests. And certain near-recent events perpetrated on us still sting a mite. It's a wonder we're still behaving ourselves.

I am also against public treason and the instigation of an uprising against the legitimite government of the Kingdom of Amber. I was not involved in the response in any way, but a response was necessary. I would not have handled the issue the way it was handled and but then again, I am not King.

Very, very good, Addison. I’m quite impressed.
I sincerely hope to not find myself on the wrong side of a set of iron bars and paperwork from you. Then again, maybe I should hope to find myself across from you some distant day. This sea-dog wouldn’t mind going down so much if is she’s brought to it by someone with some real backbone.
I salute you, sir.

Treason is such a strong word. A very unfitting one, as well, considering that I'm a citizen of Minos and not Amber.
Also, I think that the fact that so many people think of a certain man at the mention of cowardice says more of the Man than the Bard doing the singing.

Molly has a big bucket of popcorn and is happily watching the sparks fly. Especially since the Boss seems to have distracted the force of your ire from me for the moment.
Besides, one more comment after mine, and this LJ sucker breaks the 50-post-mark!

It was a song in praise of a good military leader. Of actions done against a common enemy by the name of The Black Road. It was a song to spur people to further action. To uplift those that were fighting the good fight and, in passing, frown upon those that sit around and do nothing while there's something out there trying to eat our world up like a lovely three-course meal.
People were informed of Station. Documents were had, though deemed insufficient in certain eyes. Admiral of the Fleet was considered to be enough by those that sent said fleet. Paperwork was corrected. I never declared myself No Touchy. The beating was taken. Rage happened, but was not acted on. Admittedly, comments implying anything other are a tiny bit insulting.
One day, yes. I will be a formal subject of Amber. Until then, I am a Sea Queen and sister to one of the Commodores of Minos.
But yes. A conversation for another place.
