You ever want to take the Basilisk out, let me know.

I'll need to teach you what buttons not to push, though.

Thanks, but, uh, doesn't the Basilisk still have long-memoried enemies out there somewhere, Roxy? Terror of the Whassname, an' all, wasn't it?

Doesn't the Apple have the same problem?

Besides, those who'd recognize her know better than to mess with her. She got that rep for a reason.

She may no longer have offensive capabilities, but she certainly has defensive ones. No one's given me any problems since I've had her.

Of course, that might be because folks know the old Duke himself can't travel.

I wouldn't call it a problem, as much as a benefit.

those who'd recognize her know better than to mess with her.
See above.

I could take you there for a visit, but last time I tried, there was that whole mess with a missing sea and a world turtle.

They say you can't go home again. Probably because it sounds more glib than, "Well, you can try going home again, but what with the giant turtles and all the other crap goin' on out there, might think twice before you try."

It was a very nice world turtle.

All the finest amenities, rendered in glorious tortoiseshell? Including a well-stocked bar?

Or did you mean personality-wise?

There's a tempest in yon horned moon,
And lightning in yon cloud,
And hard the music, mariners,
The wind is piping loud;
The wind is piping loud, my boys!
The lightning flashes free,
While the hollow oak our palace is,
Our heritage the sea.

*sniffle*

I'm not sure if that helps, or only makes it worse. Either way, puts that old salty twinge in my heart. So, thanks to ye, Ma'am.
