Questions about Karakura Town folks :)

I am just about completely ignorant about how these things might work in the real world, and I don't know how realistic Chad's and Orihime's situations are. So this first one may be a real-world question as much as a Bleach canon question.

There was a bonus chapter about Mizuiro's parental situation. I don't recall any mention of his father, but his mother dated and worked quite a bit. Mizuiro used to call her every afternoon (presumably) and she would brush him off or not answer. At the end of the chapter Mizuiro chooses to stop calling and begin living his life for himself, after some support from Keigo.

This is in no way a blow-by-blow account, seeing as I'm quite ill and running on no sleep, but I'm pretty sure that's how it went.

The name of the chapter is called "A Wonderful Error", and if I remember correctly it was "Chapter 0.8"

Ah, this is very informative, thank you! I didn't realize Keigo and his sister lived with their parents... Karakura Town was starting to seem like Neverland, or something XD You've given me a lot of helpful information!

Eek, I also didn't realize Ishida lived alone O__O Wow. Do you have any idea where in the manga or anime they talk about that? Don't trouble yourself please, if you just know which arc, or something, I can go and find it :)

A lot of it is in the omakes or SOULS, the first character book. I'll see if I can find where it is online.

I think some of Orihime's relatives pay for her apartment, but I don't know which ones.

The Bleach wiki says the other guy in Chad's band is named Harutoki. I don't think there are any other bandmates ever mentioned.

No idea on the gigai question, except that I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

I think the closest we ever get to Mizuiro's living situation is chapter 0.8 - The Wonderful Error. You can read it here, just scroll down past 00 sides A and B.
