I see a bunch of characters, but I'll go with Hanataro-- you said you are very hard on yourself and lacked confidence, but you are also a sweet, loyal and hardworking person. :)

I'd certainly say Hanatarou. You described yourself as kind and optimistic; albeit shy and rather insecure, which just shouts Hanatarou to me. ^^
