Soul Society bitches.

I was rated as Rukia awhile back, but I want to be re-rated, to see if it's any different now.

Name/Nickname: Just call me Di, it's easier on most people.
Age: 19

Likes: Lessee...I like video games, reading (books and manga), drawing, writing, acting (I love acting), listening to music, just thinking for no reason, sex (did I say that?), but my friends most of all, they mean a whole lot to me. Oh, and the beach and the ocean, I love them. There's nothing like spending the day there and watching the sun set.
Dislikes: Hypocrites, close-minded people, and food. I don't have an eating disorder...but I dislike eating food anyway.

Strong points: I'm quite honest. If you want to hear an unbiased opinion, just ask me. I'm also sincere and, to those who've earned it, I'm quite nice. I'm also pretty perceptive, even if I seem spaced out or aloof. I'm also independant, and I do things my way and I have my own opinions. I guess I'm just like this on the whole because I had to be strong on my own, without holding on to others for support. Things would've been much harder for me if I hadn't. I'm also kind of the one people go to for advice, so I learned to just tell the truth even if it hurts.
Weaker points: Even if I don't show it, I can be pretty over-sensitive. I can take criticism to heart at times. I have really really low self-esteem. I'm also pretty rebellious, I cross the line a lot, and I don't really listen to authority, which has gotten me into loads of trouble. >_> I'm also really stubborn, and kinda lazy too. On the whole, I'm like this as a result of before I figured out I had to be strong for myself and just took everything as they came. I'm stubborn and I don't listen because I'm not the type to just say whatever's on my mind, people rarely know what I'm thinking, and this goes for my aloofness too. I guess I just don't want to hand out my trust so easily.

Hobbies &/or Talents: Hobbies, well, I like to crochet on occasion, and I like sketching. But my special talents are acting, writing and playing guitar. I half-wish I could sing, but I'll be taking lessons someday soon. I think it'd be fun to sing and play guitar.

Favorite color: Hot pink and black are the best.
Favorite animal: Butterflies, for sure. I think they represent me on the whole.
Favorite season: Summer!

Mature or Immature: In the middle, but if I had to choose, mature.
Leader or Follower: Leader, so I don't have to do what I'm told.
Outgoing or Shy: I strike a fine balance. I don't say much about myself, but I can still be the life of the party.
Confident or Modest: I'm confident in my abilities and in what I can achieve, but modest in what my true talents are.
Optimistic, Pessimistic, or Realist: Realistically optimistic.
Low, medium, or high energy level: Medium.

Goals in life: In a few years, I expect to be at the top of my game in the world of acting and movies, in writing, and in rock-stardom. More than a few good movies under my belt, a best-selling novel, and a few good albums all worked out.

Favorite quote & why: "There's more beauty in the truth, even if it is dreadful beauty. The storytellers at the city gate twist life so that it looks sweet to the lazy and the stupid and the weak, and this only strengthens their infirmities and teaches nothing, cures nothing, nor does it let the heart soar." John Steinbeck, East of Eden

I like this most because most people in life would rather have pretty lies instead of the truth, which is sometimes not so pretty. In my opinion, the truth, even if it's not always pretty, is a lot better than a fake, plastic lie. And sometimes, the truth at its most bare can be far more pleasing to the eyes than anything fake and manufactured, and I wish more people would understand that. It takes a lot of courage to face the truth, but in the end, at least you're getting the real thing.

Describe your personality in three words or more: Honest, pensieve, perceptive.

Favorite character & why: I love Yoruichi and Ichigo. Yoruichi because she's my favorite type of mentor character, the kind who gives good advice, who makes sure others don't go astray, and yet is incredibely strong herself, even if she doesn't show it much. She's also an independant thinker, and doesn't always follow the rules if it's not what she thinks is right. I like Ichigo for the same reasons asides the mentor part, but I also like him because he's not a stereotypical "let's save everyone" hero. He also recognizes those who help him and is intensely loyal and reckless at the same time, which I love.
Least favorite character & why: If pressed at gunpoint to pic, Kuchiki Byakuya. Mainly, because he's the kind of aristocrat/rich person that I generally dislike anyway, the kind who's too good and knows it too well.

Anything else: Ice cream is awesome.
How did you find this community: Uh, I've had it on my f-list for awhile?
