Name/Nickname: Sara
Age: Eighteen
Likes: I love spending time with friends and being social. I was always really shy in high school, but now that I’m in college, I never want to stop interacting with people. I love working out and try to do it as often as possible, but I don’t always have time. Once I get on the treadmill, though, you can’t get me to stop. I also love leisure activities, since I’m almost always procrastinating on my schoolwork. I’m a fan of Sudoku and mucking around on facebook especially, haha
Dislikes: People who can’t be honest. Anyone who’s tactless or who brings others down to make themselves feel better about their own insecurities. Let’s just all try to communicate like adults. Please? It’s way healthier.
Strong points: I’m a journalism student, so I’ve always been good at writing. Ever since I was little, I’ve wanted to know “why.” I love telling stories and making people laugh. I’m a good listener and very sympathetic when my friends are having problems.
Weaker points: Sometimes there’s a disconnect between my brain and my mouth and I say things I don’t mean. I have a lot of miscommunications. I can be loud and obnoxious and often need to be told to shut up.
Hobbies &/or Talents: I love movies and musical theater. Anything visual really appeals to me. I also do a lot of community service in my spare time. I love feeling like I’m contributing to something and helping someone out in some way. I also write for my campus newspaper as extra journalism practice.
Favorite color: Purple. No real reason, although it is my school’s color. I just think it’s beautiful and love wearing it.
Favorite animal: Horse. Can be gentle and domesticated or wild and unruly, but either way, such a strong, majestic animal.
Favorite season: Fall. I love the crisp air and the wind. It has the best temperatures of any season too… not too chilly, but not sweat-your-butt-off hot either.
Mature or Immature: Mature when the time calls for it, but I love acting stupid and childlike. I have a very immature sense of humor. But I like to think that I’m more grown up than I was last year, or even last month. I’m constantly learning and growing.
Leader or Follower: When I’m excited about a project, I can lead, but I tend to get frustrated in group settings, especially when I feel others aren’t pulling their weight. I like following because that way, I know exactly what’s expected of me and what I have to do, and I still feel responsible for whatever it is I’m involved in.
Outgoing or Shy: I’m really shy in big group settings, especially if the people I’m with all seem to know each other. In a small group or among my friends, however, I love being the center of attention. And of course, I love meeting new people. I just do better talking intimately with one person at a time than I do cycling between members of a huge group.
Confident or Modest: I’m humble, but I know what I’m good at. I’m very confident in myself and my abilities. It’s not very often that I have blue days.
Optimistic, Pessimistic, or Realist: A realist who lives by positive spin. Unless something extremely traumatic happens, I bounce back really fast from bad moods.
Low, medium, or high energy level: It varies. I try to be calm, but when I have to get my game face on, I can be energetic and productive like nothing else.
Goals in life: I want to write a long feature story and have it be published in the New York Times Magazine. I want to be successful in my career first and foremost. I want to have a solid group of friends and children. Getting married would be nice, but only if it’s with the right person.
Favorite quote & why: "Aimer, ce n'est pas se regarder l'un l'autre, c'est regarder ensemble dans la même direction." --Antoine de Saint Exupéry
It means “to love is not to gaze at each other, it is to look together in the same direction.” It’s such a beautiful summary of my idea of a perfect relationship and conjures up such a strong idea of mutual support.
Describe your personality in three words or more: Positive, thoughtful, fun-loving
Favorite character & why: How can you possibly expect me to choose? Something that really appeals to me about Bleach is its colorful cast of side characters: there are so many of them, but they’re all so well-developed and distinctive. However, I’m going to go with Kira. Something about his conflicting devotions really stuck out to me during the Soul Society arc. Plus, his little interactions with all of the characters he comes into contact with add so much to the series to me. Not gonna lie, I was a happy fanthing when he reappeared to fight the Arrancar in recent chapters. <3
Least favorite character & why: I don’t really dislike anyone… but I’ll say Hitsugaya. What an overrated character. He’s one of the most cliché in the series, in my opinion, so I kind of resent him for that. :p
Anything else: Thanks a lot for rating! I’d love it if you could give a reason for rating me as you did, too, if you have the time!
