you came up in my google alerts ^^ YES my thoughts exactly, I think it's mostly the narrartor's fault in making the whole thing dramatic that pple were going all emo over "non smiling" pi. There's so many examples of him smiling in group pictures, but when he's posing by himself, he's usually serious, I guess its awkward to smile out of no where by yourself, and it's fake. Plus he's been promoting kurosagi which is like all dark and serious.. it'd be weird if he wasn't serious faced in the photos.

yep, he said that he just can't smile without something to make him smile, so most (if not all) of his individual photos are non-smiling ones.. it's just funny people would really think he's "the idol who can't smile" ^^;;

Hi, I know your journal through google while searching information about Ikuta Toma.
And you're right. I've known Yamapi since Kurosagi and seen lots of his pictures, individuals and groups, but somehow I recognized something was missing here. That would be his smile. But in every single (or almost if you count, about 99%) of his pictures with Toma, regardless it was only the two of them or within a group, he always smiled.
This proves there's a special bond between them.
It's nice to know you.

Yamapi is also quite shy, from this magazine scanlation 0409 that I saw..so I guess that's why P-chan doesn't smile much in photos (except with kawaii Toma-chan!!)

I like Tomapi mainly because I truly believe that what they're doing is not fan service, but that they're truly good friends who don't have to mention each other all the time to let each other know their importance :D

Yamapi just has issues. he likes to act cool. =.= I don't think you can see his smile in Code Blue and Kurosagi. Maybe very little in ProDai. *is biased* XD

Toma looks darned frekking cool when he scowls, like in my DP, but I am so so so in love with Toma's Nakatsu!! And I feel Toma is really Nakatsu at heart, although he seems shy???? No idea.

Me too!! I feel they are good friends, not just a fanservice coupling..from their pictures and stuf. Hee. I duno why. But when I see Toma with some other actors like Ohno, I dont feel the friendship thingy between them. I dont know how to express it =XX

I got into Johnny's because of Toma, then I liked Yamapi after that, but now I don't like him that much... heh. And I guess I'm like you, I only like Yamapi when he's with Toma XD
