I love the military element to this post! Lovely photos, always had a desire to study History (modern contemporary).

I think in an internet relationship / friendship base it's pretty hard to understand what is going on in each other's minds. Sometimes the pre misconceptions are the worst possible thing.
It must be bloody awful for you to travel such a great distance etc.
Fortunately I met my bf only 30 miles from where I live :(
