The outfit you made for shatteredsaint was so beautiful! He looked amazing in it! Well done. Getting packages in the mail is the best!
I have been trying to upload the pics of the wedding dress for everyone to see but the stupid program won't download the photos from the camera! Grrrr!
Did you end up finding that yummy brocade yesterday?

Thank you, The cravat was one of the easiest things I have sewn suprisingly, I will have to snap some pics of him in it before next coven ^_^
We didn't get the brocade, mostly because we are flat broke and I don't have any patterns suitable to make a frock coat, so we shall have to wait until we have more money or scott gets a job >.> but it was yummy and I can see a big coat like the ones they had in gown of thorns .. ok maybe not that good, but close.
I definately want to see this wedding dress!

The Cut of Men's Clothes by Norah Waugh has great coat/frock coat patterns. (I think the time period is 1600-1900.) They're period proportions, but you can blow them up and alter them pretty easily. :) We use it at school all the time.

And for excellent silk brocades: Thai Silks.
